About Approving and Starting a Cycle Day

You Approve a Cycle Day when it is ready to be given. The approval also starts the Cycle Day.

You Start a Cycle Day On Behalf Of a provider, who previously approved the Cycle.

Several options are available to Approve or Start a Cycle Day. You can:

Approve or Start the current treatment:
- With or without printing the Scheduled Orders
- Given On site or Off site
Approve or Start a Series of Treatment Days given On site or Off site

The availability of these options is controlled by the Regimen Orders permission, under Patient Chart permissions.

The table below describes how the None, View, and Full permission settings affect availability of these options in the Regimen Management menu.

None	Hide Regimens under the Orders chart tab.
View	Open Regimen Management menu and access Print Scheduled Orders, Print treatment day approval, View regimen properties, and Audit History. Medication Orders and Non-Medication Orders must be View or Full.
Full	Show Regimens under the Orders chart tab. Medication Orders and Non-Medication Orders must be Full.
