In the image below, we expect to see two sections ("Radiology" and "Discussion") where the arrows point, but they are not visible.

There are two common reasons for a missing section.

Suppress Empty Enabled

First, the section may have Suppress Empty enabled. To see if this is the case, click OTHER ACTIONS, and choose Reveal Note Structure.

If the sections are visible again, then your note template contains sections with Suppress Empty enabled. If you ever set your note to Show Final Copy, remember to set it back to Reveal Note Structure to see the suppressed sections.

If the missing section is not visible after setting the note to Reveal Note Structure, then the section is deleted. If it was deleted while editing the current note:

Copy and paste any important text entries that are not saved elsewhere in the chart to another document.
Click CANCEL and start your note over.
