Research Monitor

A Research Monitor is responsible for overseeing the conduct of clinical trials and research studies to ensure they comply with regulatory requirements, study protocols, and ethical guidelines.

A Research Monitor should have view only access in iKnowMed and should only have access to a specific set of charts, along with a few other important caveats. The Onboard a Research Monitor steps show how to set up a Research Monitor user account to meet those requirements.

Depending on setup, the Research Monitor likely has access to several chart tabs: Clinical Profile, Demographics, Documents, Flowsheet, and Results. For info about those areas, see the options below.
